Access Review

The following access levels are predefined in L.A.S.S.I.E. to ensure a smooth operation of L.A.S.S.I.E. on a running convention. Those access levels can be audited in the Access Review module.

Access Levels

Special Rights (not categorized)All Operatives with individually set rights are displayed in this group.
OperativeThe regular L.A.S.S.I.E. Operative. This access level provides basic functionality for Security Operations including access to the Incident management.
DispatcherAn Operative who acts as Dispatch needs some more access. This especially includes the ability to set the Status of other Operatives and most databases, including a limited access to the attendee database.
Front Office (FO) OperativeAn Operative who acts as FO Operative has additional access to most databases, without the attendee database.
Supervisor / SSOA Supervisor / SSO has full access to the Operatives and Incident management as well as Schedule and all all databases, including the attendee database.
Executive / ESOAn Executive / ESO has full access to all Security related modules and system settings.
Executive / ESO AdjutantAn Operative who acts as ESO Adjutant has additional access to most databases and the attendee database as well as Messaging system, Status and Scheduler.
No AccessThis setting provides no access at all.
Con Ops AdminA ConOps Admin has full access to all ConOps related modules as well as to the Messaging system and the lost & Found database.
Con Ops UserA ConOps User has full access to all ConOps related modules and the lost & Found database.
Con Ops Reg-DirectorA ConOps Reg-Director has full access to all ConOps related modules as well as to the attendee database, the Messaging system and the lost & Found database. They also have limited access (read only) to all Security related modules.
AdminFull access to all modules.

Access Rights

The specific access rights to modules are displayed on the top of each table. Each access right can individually be set to 'N' (no access), 'R' (read only) or 'W' (write access).

Operative ViewView / Edit Details of any Security Operative of the Convention. Read access will only get limited information.
Operative ListsView Lists of Security Operatives of the Convention. Read access will only get limited information.
Operative StatusView / Edit the Status of any Security Operative of the Convention.
Operative ConOps StatusView / Edit the Status of any ConOps Operative of the Convention.
Items DBView / Edit the Item database.
Lost and Found DBView / Edit the Lost & Found database.
Assets DBView / Edit the Personal Assets database.
Attendee DBView the Attendee database. Read access will only get limited information. This database is non-editable.
PNG DBView / Edit the PNG database.
ScheduleView / Edit the Schedule.
Self-SchedulerView / Edit the Self-Scheduler. There is no difference between R and W here.
Incident ViewView / Edit Incidents.
Incident ConOps ViewView / Edit ConOps Incidents.
Incident ArchiveView / Edit archived Incidents (closed).
MailerView / Write e-Mails.
MessagingView / Write announcements via the Messaging system.
SystemView / Edit System Settings.
AROView / Edit the ARO.
EventsView / Edit the Convention's Events.
Con Predefined MsgView / Edit the predefined Messages for the Convention.
Incident ConOps TypesView / Edit the ConOps Incident types for the Convention.
Con QualificationsView / Edit the available Qualifications for the Convention.
Con Asset TypesView / Edit the available Asset types for the Convention.
Con Item TypesView / Edit the Item types for the Convention.
Attendee DB AuditView the access audit to the Attendee database. There is no difference between R and W here. This database is non-editable.
Operative View DoBGet the DoB of all of the Convention's Operatives in the iCAL file (seeĀ Mobile Schedule) as a calendar item. There is no difference between R and W here.
