It can either be used to send messages to the Operative via a Telegram / Pager message and/or used to store and retrieve data (i.e. radio logs, attendee information, item database, schedules, etc.). A Dispatcher additionally announces the call details to Security Crew Members over a two-way radio. | ||

3 | The central idea is that the Dispatcher is able to easily view and understand the status of all units being dispatched. **L.A.S.S.I.E.** provides displays and tools so that the Dispatcher has an opportunity to handle calls-for-service as efficiently as possible. | ||

5 | **L.A.S.S.I.E.** comes as a web-based desktop version to be used by Dispatch to track and alert units as well as the Operatives for filling in reports and for the self-scheduling system (**L.A.S.S.I.E.**). In the field a Telegram based Bot (**L.A.S.S.I.E. Bot**) is used to set an Operative's status or to retrieve information from **L.A.S.S.I.E.** itself. **L.A.S.S.I.E.** consist of several modules that provide services at multiple levels. These services include incident management, unit dispatching, incident status maintenance, unit status and several databases providing information about the attendees of a convention. **L.A.S.S.I.E.** also includes interfaces that permit the software to provide services to Dispatchers and Security Crew Operatives with respect to control and use of mobile devices (smartphones). | ||
